10cc were an English art rock band who achieved their greatest commercial success in the 1970s. Initially comprising four musicians .Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme who had written and recorded together for some three years, before assuming the “10cc” name in 1972.

Two strong song-writing teams, one commercial and one artistic, injected sharp wit to lyrically-dexterous songs. The commercial team (Stewart and Gouldman) were straight pop-song-writers, who created the band’s most accessible songs; the artistic team (Godley and Creme) were the experimental half of 10cc, featuring an Art School sensibility and cinematic writing. Each man was a multi-instrumentalist, singer, writer, and producer, and each could perform as the lead singer.

In 2001 the band Redivider lost keyboard player Diederik Nomden. The remaining members began what is now known as Alamo Race Track. They felt that Nomden's departure affected the band's sound, so they took on a new band name, Alamo Race Track. Under this name, David Corel, Guy Bours, Len Lucieer and Ralph Mulder started to record new demo tracks.

After supporting Daryll-Ann on a tour in early 2002, Excelsior Recordings signed the band. The following year the band played many high profile shows, resulting in good reviews from various Dutch magazines.

Born in Britain on December 20, 1948, Alan soon found that his interests lay in music. He studied piano and flute as a child and was always intrigued by gadgetry. He picked up the guitar in his early teens and played as a soloist as well as with various bands at school.

One of his first jobs was at an EMI tape duplication facility in West London. At this time he was fortunate enough to experience the master tape of the Beatles Sgt. Pepper album and that boosted his determination to become a recording engineer. Says Alan, "I couldn't wait to find out the secrets behind the album. It left me totally in awe of the talent of The Beatles themselves of course, but also the work behind the scenes in the studio". His timing was perfect.

The concept of Animals and Friends began in the spring of 2000. Hilton Valentine had re-located to America but demand was high for the Animals. Peter Barton former Mindbender had been gigging in a band alongside John Williamson, former guitarist from Titanic. A suggestion was made to team the two units together. Pete had been involved with the Animals now for almost a decade on the management front. Due to the pedigree of the current band members the band was re-named Animals and friends. Jim Rodford was a well-known face from the Kinks and Argent. Johnnie guitar Williamson, again from his time with Titanic and Skeleton Crew had become a familiar face on the Blues and Rock circuit. Pete Barton had also served his apprenticeship alongside Wayne Fontana in The Mindbenders and with Trevor Burton from The Move. The final ingredient's to this rock & roll cocktail was of course original Animal members, Dave Rowberry and John Steel.
Animals and Friends were born.

On one of our scouting trips we discovered "Beardsmith". Father Beardsmith and his four children, the youngest being just 11 at the time we meet them, has managed to put and keep a band together with instrumental very talented musicians.

In our opinion they could play music before they could walk or talk properly. They have got a large repertoire from Golden Oldies to up to date music, such as Kaiserchiefs or Fratelli's.

But above all the play very well. It is heartwarming to see how these brilliant musicians manage to keep their crowd entertained.

In 2003 a worldwide petition calling for the reunion of Southern Rock Legends Blackfoot, caught the attention of founding members Jakson Spires, Charlie Hargrett, Greg T. Walker and former Blackfoot lead guitarist Bobby Barth. Calls were made, hoops jumped through, a tap dance here and there and in 2004 the guys got together to meet and check out the possibility of a reunion. Before the first note was struck, it was agreed that, should the band be unable to meet or exceed the expectations of both the members and the fans, it would not happen.

Let me first say a few words about the Musicians. As times goes by, and musicians grow older, a choice must be made. To continue to learn and expand or to sit back in the easy chair and relax. From the first song it was obvious that all the members had gotten better at their jobs, as a fan, to hear those tracks played with that intensity was a thrill. The vote was quick and unanimous,

At seven she started lessons but soon noticed that not only did the electric guitars have a smaller neck, making them ideal for little hands, but they could also make a lot more noise. After more lessons and a lot more noise and at the grand old age of eight she became the youngest person in the country to pass a Rockschool grade. More lessons followed and with them came the realization that if you want people to listen, you need to sing!
